Ensure you keep your candle lit for at least two hours the first time you light your custom candle, this ensures you get a full melt pool on top and that prevents tunneling. You also want to trim your wick each time you light your candle to 1/4 of an inch. Keep away from flammable objects, drafts, children and animals. Light only within sight and make sure you the candle is on a solid, level and flare resistant surface. Do not burn candle for more than four hours at a time and stop use when 1/4 inch of wax remains.
